Morgan Simpson 2016 Reprieve Shiraz

"Dense purple wine, almost black with lovely sweet chocolatey oak characters dominating the nose and palate".  Winestate Magazine.

Morgan Simpson 2019 Basket Press Shiraz

New Release

Morgan Simpson 2017 Basket Press Shiraz

A wetter than usual vintage has meant this lacks a little of the fruit intensity of our usual Shiraz. It will age well but who can wait? Grab a bargain.

Morgan Simpson 2018 Row 42 Cabernet Sauvignon

"Pungent spicy and tarry like charachters on the nose with soft generous blackcurrant fruit flavors with a savoury balance." Winestate Magazine

Morgan Simpson 2015 Plan B Mataro

A massive wine. Grippy tannin with an almost meaty/antipasto flavour.  Great depth and length.

Morgan Simpson 2017 Barcore Shiraz-Mataro

This wine is a roughly 50 50 blend of Shiraz and Mataro. Mataro is a late ripening variety with high tannin and often high alcohol (which is why we like it).  This wine is a truncated version of the more usual GSM blend, but there is an increasing few appearing without Grenache.  The savoury, tannic flavours of the Mataro blend well with Shiraz producing a very intense and drinkable wine.

Morgan Simpson 2019 2 Clowns Chardonnay

New Release

Showing distinct French oak, with traces of fig and lychee.  A clean acid balance adds texture and structure.

"A delicately light straw wine beautifully balanced and showing good length, excellent structure and subtle Chardonny fruit characters." Winestate Magazine

Morgan Simpson 2011 Endangred Species Semillon

An unoaked Semillon, a pure expression of fruit with tight acid and the classic Semillon mouthfeel. A ready to drink summer wine that will also well repay a few years in the cellar.

"A distinctive Semillon nose of lemon and straw.  A touch of lime too, which follows through on the palate.  An unwooded style, with good palate weight and cleansing acid."
Heather Britton
